How do I calculate carbs for Chrunchy Mix:

We use a scoop so the amount of each bean can only be approximated. In the numbers below you will see the phrase “ calculated difference.” This term means that carbs are calculated as the difference between the total weight minus protein, fat and water. All figures are calculations per hundred grams. If you are like me and still have not mastered the metric system:

There are about:

  • 50 grams in 1/2 cup of uncooked green peas Sprouted Green Peas 27.15 carbs by difference per 100 grams
  • 65 grams in 1/3 cup of lentils. Sprouted Lentils 22.14 carbs by difference per 100 grams
  • 100 grams in 1/2 cup of adzuki beans (dry). Sprouted Adzuki Beans- 12.90 carbs by difference per 100 grams
